A plethora of outdoor activities are here as we enter spring time! Some of the most meaningful and fun activities I have taken part in has been charity walks. These walks range from 5Ks to all day or night events. Not only can you enjoy times with friends and meet new people, but you can support a cause while doing it. Here are some of my reasons why you should walk. Did we miss some? Tell us by commenting below!
- Support family and friends affected by a disease
- To show that you are greater than a disease
- To walk for those who can’t
- To let people know they are not alone in their personal fight
- To be a part of a cause bigger than yourself
- To learn more about the world, yourself and a cause
- To raise money for life changing research or foundations
- To be the change
- Enjoy a beautiful day
- Community Involvement
- Good Food
- Music and Speakers
- The t-shirt
- A cheap or free activity with friends
