This past Saturday, Harrisonburg celebrated its 19th annual International Festival at Hillandale Park. The Festival was well attended and had booths from a variety of different businesses and organizations, such as JMU’s own Students Helping Honduras. In addition, there was great food (my favorite part) and entertainment. See below for photos from the event.

The Festival included Congolese, Filipino, Syrian, and Sudanese dances, two fashion shows, and many different types of music throughout the day. If you haven’t gone to this event yet, add it to your bucket list before you graduate! There are even shuttles to the event, one of which left from Memorial Hall. The Festival takes place the 4th Saturday of September every year… so mark your calendar for 2017!
