The JMU Fall Sports season continues with regional tournaments and Senior Day games! Here is your sports recap from this past weekend.

1. Football, Away, Saturday October 15th

  • JMU vs. New Hampshire, JMU Won 42-39

2. Mens Tennis, Thursday Oct.13th – Monday Oct. 17th ITA Atlantic Regionals

  • Blacksburg, VA
  • JMU had 2 singles advance to main draw of 32


3. Womens Tennis, Thursday Oct. – Monday Oct. 17th ITA Atlantic Regionals

  • Norfolk, VA
  • JMU had 1 doubles team advance to main draw quarterfinals and 1 singles advance to back draw


4. Womens Cross Country, Saturday Oct. 15th, Pre-Nationals

  • Terre Haute, Indiana
  • JMU placed 35th overall, with one Top-100 runner finishing individually at 75th, and one runner in the Open-Race finishing 25th out of 101 runners


5. Womens Swimming, Home, Saturday  Oct. 15th

  • JMU vs. Liberty
  • JMU won 5-1, claiming the top spot in 8 of the 16 events

6. Mens Soccer, Home, Saturday Oct. 15th

  • JMU vs. Northeastern
  • JMU fell 0-1

JMU Men’s Soccer honored its graduating class of seniors.

7. Womens Golf, Away in Hayesville, N.C., Sunday Oct. 16th – Tuesday Oct. 18th

  • Bill Berg Invitational
  • JMU placed 3rd, racking up 36 birdies as a team across their three rounds


8. Womens Volleyball, Away, Sunday Oct. 16th

  • JMU vs. Deleware
  • JMU lost 2-3 in a fifth deciding set

9. Womens Soccer, Home, Thursday Oct. 14th and Sunday Oct. 16th

  • JMU vs. College of Charleston on Thursday and JMU vs. UNCW on Sunday
  • JMU won 4-1 over Charleston
  • JMU won 4-0 over UNCW on “Senior Day,” moving them to 1st place in the CAA

10. Field Hockey, Away, Sunday Oct. 16th

  • JMU vs. Lafayette
  • JMU won 3-1. continuing its 5-game winning streak
