The countdown has begun! Only 13 days until JMU celebrates Giving Day! Last year’s (first-ever)16716003_10154996208060768_3325338189577785107_o Giving Day received an overwhelming amount of support totaling 2,840 gifts! This year, JMU is upping the stakes by setting their fundraising goal to 4,000 gifts. Every donation will make a huge impact and enhance the Madison Experience greatly.

What is Giving Day? Well… it’s a 24-hour fundraising event that gives students, family, friends, alumni, staff and faculty the chance to give back to this university we all love so much. It doesn’t matter what size… ALL gifts will make a difference! On March 14th, just visit the JMU Giving Day homepage and submit your gift!

All donations called-in or made online on the 14th will count towards the Giving Day total. Online gifts are made through a secure giving form and will only be usable at James Madison University. If you still have questions feel free to email or call at (855) 568-4483 for more information.

Also… if you’re on campus, be sure to stop by Rose or Carrier Library to check out the Library Challenge fun. When you make your gift, be sure to designate if you’re Team Rose or Team Carrier, and the library with the most gifts will win bragging rights as ‘the best’ and also offer discounted coffee the next day at Starbucks.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for March 14th and follow this link to donate! Spread the word by joining JMU Social and use #JMUGivingDay on social media! Let’s do this, Dukes!
