As the year is winding down, students are preparing for finals and so are JMU’s athletes. Their finals are called the CAA Championship. Softball, Baseball, Lacrosse, and Track and Field are all slated to compete in the championships all throughout May. Men’s Golf recently played in the CAA Championship tournament and came in 4th place, and will later play in the NCAA Regionals and perhaps even the Championship.
Sunday, April 23: The Dukes lost 7 to 6 against the College of William & Mary.
Wednesday, April 26: JMU won 16 to 0 against Longwood University.
Sunday, April 23: Drexel beat JMU 15 to 12.
Sunday, April 23: JMU won both games against UNCW. They won the first 4 to 1 and then the second 4 to 0.
Wednesday, April 26: The Dukes won both games against UNC Chapel Hill’s Tar Heels– the first 4 to 3 and then the second 8 to 0.
Saturday, April 29: Drexel lost to JMU in both games played on the 29th. The Dukes won 3 to 0 and then 10 to 0.
Sunday, April 30: JMU won against Drexel again, this time winning 8 to 0.
