Fight Song T-shirt Giveaway

The JMU community was ready for Homecoming as early as Monday morning. At The Commons, Fight Song T-shirts were given away, along with frisbees and purple and gold popcorn. Students also enjoyed the occasional game of corn-hole.

Homecoming Banner

Every year, residence halls are given the opportunity to make a Homecoming themed banner. The residence halls that choose to participate are then pitted against each other to see whose banner is the best. This year’s winner is Chandler Hall! Congratulations for this awesome banner.

Quad-fest

This fun-filled event was the first go-round of a new JMU tradition that featured the following: adoptable rescue puppies from Anicira Veterinary Center, live music, the JMU cheerleaders, photo-ops with giant JMU letters, free food, Campus Cookies, crafts and games for kids, and giveaway opportunities! Duke Dog, along with lots of families and friends joined in on the fun.

 

Lessons in Leadership

Dr. Warner announced that he will be retiring from his career as JMU’s Vice President of Student Affairs at the end of the school year. This event was a reflective discussion that was open to alumni and students of all ages.

HomecomSing

This annual event included performances by all of our beloved A Cappella groups. If you missed out this year, don’t worry, it’ll be back next year!

 

JMU vs New Hampshire

The JMU Dukes kept up the streak with a 21-0 win over the New Hampshire Wildcats on Saturday, making it their 20th consecutive win. Bridgeforth Stadium was overflowing with school spirit.

Homecoming Step Show

The annual show featured performances by JMU’s Multicultural Greek Life sororities and fraternities.
