James Madison University has over three hundred clubs and organizations for students to get involved in. From the 3D printing club to the Dancing Dukes – there is never a shortage of ways to get involved.

While many clubs and organizations have philanthropies that they donate to, Love Your Melon is solely focused on raising awareness and money for children with pediatric cancer.

Mission: Love Your Melon is an apparel brand dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer in America as well as supporting nonprofit organizations who lead the fight against pediatric cancer. Love Your Melon donates 50% of their profits to their nonprofit partners who work in the field of pediatric oncology, funds cancer research initiatives, and provides immediate support for families of children battling cancer.

The Love Your Melon Campus Crew consists of 28 James Madison University students that are determined to improve the lives of children battling cancer. Campus Crew Members are the driving force behind Love Your Melon. These students all have common goals: to raise awareness of childhood cancer, represent the brand through promotions and sales events, and to personally engage with our charitable programming initiatives.

Love Your Melon Crew members raise awareness through informational presentations, social media, and by participating in other clubs and organizations events.  From beanies, to sweatshirts and scarfs, Love Your Melon is your one-stop shop. The crew is actively striving to increase awareness in order to attend “hospital visits” where the crew brings children suffering from pediatric cancer beanies. Spending the day with children fighting for their lives, is the reason James Madison University Campus Crew Members are so passionate.
