Today is International Mountain Day–which calls for a few highlights of the beautiful mountains in and around our beloved Harrisonburg! We are truly blessed to live surrounded by mountains in the Shenandoah Valley.

To start things off, here’s a breathtaking sunrise time-lapse of Wilson and main campus. You can see the blue mountains paint the background as the sky changes color.

Here’s South Main after our first snow this weekend.

One of the many views of the Blue Ridge Parkway, about 45 minutes from Harrisonburg.
Some beautiful mountains as seen from Carter Mountain Orchard in Charlottesville, about an hour from Harrisonburg.
